PRESIDENT

William Greenhill, DMD

Dr. Greenhill is in private practice in Union, Kentucky and serves as an Adjunct Assistant Professor at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center. He attended dental school at the University of Mississippi School of Dentistry in Jackson, Mississippi. Upon graduation in 1989, Dr. Greenhill entered the United States Air Force and completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry at Langley AFB, VA in 1990. He received his certificate in pediatric dentistry from Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center in 1995. Dr. Greenhill served as Chief of Pediatric Dentistry at Yokota AB, Japan and Barksdale AFB, LA and left the service in 1999. He received his American Board of Pediatric Dentistry certification in 2001.
Dr. Greenhill has served as an examiner for the American Board since 2005. He served as Chair of Part IV of the Oral Clinical Exam from 2006-2007 and has served as Chair of Part B of the Oral Clinical Exam from 2009 to 2012. He and his wife, Beth, reside in Union, Kentucky with their four children.
 


VICE PRESIDENT

Jeffrey Mabry, DDS, MS

Jeffrey Mabry was appointed an associate professor in pediatric dentistry at the University of Texas Health Sciences Center at San Antonio in July, 2006. He also serves as director of the Dental Center for Children at The Children’s hospital of San Antonio. He completed his dental degree at the Oklahoma College of Dentistry, followed by a general anesthesia externship and then a general practice residency at Oklahoma Children’s Memorial Hospital.
Dr. Mabry received his pediatric dental training and master’s degree from the University of Minnesota. His professional career includes 26 years of combined federal service, including nine years as a commissioned officer in the United States Public Health Service (Indian Health Service), followed by 17 years in the United States Air Force. During his last tour, he served as special consultant to the USAF Surgeon General in Pediatric Dentistry. In addition, Dr. Mabry served as president of the College of Diplomates of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry (2009-10) and he served on the board of directors from 2002-2005. He has worked as a consultant (2007-09) and as an examiner (2010-present) for the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry.
 


SECRETARY

Man Wai Ng, DDS, MPH

Dr. Man Wai Ng is Chief of the Department of Dentistry at Boston Children's Hospital and Assistant Professor of Developmental Biology (Pediatric Dentistry) at the Harvard School of Dental Medicine. She received her D.D.S. from Stony Brook University, her M.P.H. from the Harvard School of Public Health and her certificate in pediatric dentistry from Boston Children's Hospital/Harvard. She also completed a general practice residency at the Booth Memorial Medical Center in Flushing, NY and a dental fellowship on the developmentally disabled at Helen Hayes Hospital in West Haverstraw, NY.
Dr. Ng has been a national spokesperson for the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry. She was honored to serve as a member of the AAPD Board of Trustees (2010-13) and as Chair of the Council on Scientific Affairs (2003-06) and the Council on Postdoctoral Education (2007-10).
 


DIRECTOR

Leila Younger, DDS, MS

Dr. Leila C. Younger, D.D.S., M.S. has been in private practice for 24 years. She currently practices at Children’s Dentistry Group in Lake Zurich, Illinois after merging her solo practice with Children’s Dentistry Group in 2012. She is a Clinical Assistant Professor of pediatric dentistry at The University of Southern California Ostrow School of Dentistry.

Dr. Younger completed her residency at Children’s Memorial Hospital in Chicago and received a Master’s degree from Northwestern University in 1991. She attended The University of Illinois College of Dentistry where she graduated with honors and was inducted into OKU. She completed her undergraduate degree in biology at the University of Illinois-Urbana/Champaign.
Dr. Younger has been an examiner for the Oral Clinical Examination and on the examination committee of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry since 2005. She served on several councils and committees for the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry from 1992-2004. She became an ADA Evidence Based Dentistry Champion in 2012 and is a member of the National Dental Practice-Based Research Network.Dr. Younger and her husband, Dr. Terry Younger, reside in Barrington, Illinois. They have 2 young adult children and enjoy biking, hiking and travel, including medical mission trips.
 


DIRECTOR

E. LaRee Johnson, DDS, MS

Dr. E. LaRee Johnson graduated with honors from the University of Tennessee, College of Dentistry in 1996. She completed a 3-year pediatric dentistry residency and received a Master of Science degree at the University of North Carolina in 1999.  After her board certification in 2001, Dr. Johnson mentored many colleagues to pursue board certification, helped review cases and prepare for site visits until 2006 when she became an Examination Committee member for the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry's Oral Clinical Examination.  Working on both Parts A and B of the exam she has helped in the construction of the exam for several years as well as serving as an examiner. She took two years away from the OCE to teach an OCE prep course.

Dr. Johnson has been in full-time private practice for over 16 years. She is an adjunct faculty member at the University of North Carolina and guest speaker in a variety of venues. Dr. Johnson and her husband James Gerdts live in Raleigh, NC with their two children. Together they enjoy CrossFit, endurance sports (completing multiple lronman and Ultramarathon events) and traveling with their children.
 


IMMEDIATE PAST PRESIDENT

Cynthia L. Hipp, DDS, MSCR

Dr. Cynthia L. Hipp is an Associate Professor of Pediatric Dentistry at the James B. Edwards College of Dental Medicine, Medical University of South Carolina.  She received her D.D.S. (1988) from the University of Iowa; a certificate in Pediatric Dentistry (1990) from the University of Kentucky; and a Master of Science in Clinical Research (2007) from the Medical University of South Carolina.

Dr. Hipp has presented professional presentations to state and national audiences.  She currently serves as Clinic Director and Director of the Post Graduate Program in Pediatric Dentistry at the James B. Edwards College of Dental Medicine, Medical University of South Carolina and is a member of the South Carolina Oral Health Advisory Council.  She also maintains a part-time intramural practice. In her free time, Dr. Hipp enjoys volunteer work, working out, reading, baking, knitting and traveling.
