Chair Highlight – Edward Ginsberg, DDS
The American Board of Pediatric Dentistry is pleased to have Dr. Edward Ginsberg serving in the position of Chair of the Oral Clinical Examination (OCE) Committee.
Join the Directors and Staff of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry (ABPD) in congratulating Dr. Edward Ginsberg for being selected as the Chair of the Oral Clinical Examination (OCE) Committee. Dr. Ginsberg was Board Certified in 1992. He has been an active participant with the ABPD, serving as an Examiner, Committee Member, Part Leader and now as Chair of the OCE Committee. His attention to detail and passion for excellence make him an integral and valued member of the team. Respected by his peers and ABPD Board of Directors, we are delighted to have him serving in this new role.
Dr. Ginsberg attended the University of Maryland School of Dentistry for dental school and his specialty training in pediatric dentistry. After graduation, Dr. Ginsberg was awarded the Certificate of Honor and was elected to the Omicron Kappa Upsilon honorary dental fraternity. He also received the American Society of Dentistry for Children award. Dr. Ginsberg founded the Smiles4children dental practice in 1984 and joined the University of Maryland School of Dentistry as part-time clinical assistant professor in 1985. He has served as the president of the Maryland Society of Dentistry for Children and the Maryland Academy of Pediatric Dentistry. Dr. Ginsberg is a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, American College of Dentists, and International College of Dentists.
When he is not working, Dr. Ginsberg enjoys spending time with his wife, two children and four grandsons. An avid Baltimore Ravens fan, he enjoys swimming, biking and skiing.
