2021 brings new leadership to the ABPD Renewal of Certification Process Examination Subcommittee. Dr. Nancy Rajchel has been appointed as Chair and Drs. Michael Roseff and Craig Hollander assume the roles of Vice Chair of the CQI and ROC exam respectfully.

Dr. Nancy Rajchel

Nancy was board certified in 2000 and has been an active participant with ABPD since 2010.  Her service to ABPD has consisted of:

Dr. Nancy Rajchel is originally from Amarillo, Texas, and has lived in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania since 1992. She is in private practice in both Mechanicsburg and Harrisburg, PA. Dr. Rajchel received her undergraduate degree from West Texas State University in Canyon, TX, and her dental degree from Baylor College of Dentistry in Dallas, TX. Deciding to specialize in pediatric dentistry, she then received her specialty training by completing a 2-year pediatric dental residency at Baylor College of Dentistry, Children's Medical Center and the Texas Scottish Rite Hospital in Dallas, TX, obtaining a Certificate in Pediatric Dentistry. Dr. Rajchel is board certified by the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry and is certified in Pediatric Advanced Life Support. She is a member of the American Dental Association, the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, the Pennsylvania Dental Association, Pennsylvania Association of Pediatric Dentists and the Harrisburg Area Dental Society. Dr. Rajchel maintains staff privileges at the West Shore Surgery Center.

Dr. Rajchel is the mother of one son and one daughter, and an 18-month old grandson. She enjoys traveling, camping, fishing, reading and working out at the gym.

Dr. Michael Roseff

Mike was board certified in 2007, and also been an active participant with ABPD.  His service to ABPD as consisted of: 

  • Oral Clinical Examination Examiner 2013 - 2016, 2018, 2019
  • Qualifying Examination    Committee Member 2014
  • Renewal of Certification Subcommittee: CQI Committee Member 2016, 2017

Born in Philadelphia, Dr. Roseff received his BA degree in Biology and BS Degree in Food Science at the University of Delaware. He received his Doctorate of Dental Medicine at Nova Southeastern University in Davie, Florida. Upon graduation, Dr. Roseff was awarded the Delta Dental Leadership Award, The American College of Dentists Award for Professionalism and Ethics, and The Florida Academy of Pediatric Dentistry Charles Fain Award. He was also awarded the Leadership in Student Governments Dean’s Award, and College of Dental Medicine Service Award.

Active in research, Dr. Roseff was awarded grants to present his research in craniofacial orthodontics in Gothenburg, Sweden, Oahu, HI, and San Francisco, CA. Dr. Roseff received his postgraduate training at Indiana University/Riley Children’s Hospital for Children in Pediatric Dentistry. 

Dr. Roseff is member of The Pierre Fachard Academy, Affiliate member of Palm Beach Pediatric Society, was 2010-2011 President of North Palm Beach County District Dental Association, is a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, the Executive Director for the Florida Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, and the Dental Counselor for the Florida Cleft Palate Craniofacial Association.

He lives in Wellington, FL with his wife, two daughters, and dogs, Lucy and Bennie.

 

Vice Chair, ROC-P, Renewal of Certification Process Subcommittee

Dr. Craig Hollander

Craig was board certified in 1999 and has been an active participant with ABPD. His service to ABPD has consisted of:

  • Qualifying Examination Subcommittee: Committee Member 2010 - 2012
  • Renewal of Certification Subcommittee: Committee Member 2012 – 2016

Dr. Craig Hollander is a 1988 graduate of the University of Missouri School of Dentistry in Kansas City. He completed a one-year hospital residency at the Miami Children’s Hospital in Coral Gables, FL, and spent two years at the University of Iowa, where he received his master’s degree in Pediatric Dentistry. He has been in private practice since 1991. During his tenure, he has become board certified, and is a clinical faculty member at two different dental schools, plus a hospital-based dental residency program. 

Dr. Hollander is on the Board of Directors of Give Kids a Smile and Healthworks! Kids Museum-St. Louis. He is a member of both the American College of Dentists and the International College of Dentists, honorary societies that have less than 4% of all dentists as members. Dr. Hollander is a member and past President of the Missouri Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and the Greater St. Louis Dental Society. He is also a member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, the American Dental Association, and the Missouri Dental Association. He is a previous recipient of a St. Louis Distinguished Service award, and a past Missouri Dentist of the Year.
